Although having been passionate about fine art since childhood, especially lacquer on wood painting. However, Doan Thuy Hanh had to send her impression by oil on canvas, water color on paper, because in the old days, she did not have enough material to satisfy her passion. Doan Thuy Hanh never gave up her hoping until the day she graduated Hanoi Fine Arts University at 24 years old and from there, she made her dream in art come true and her career in art start from there.
Not many female artists choose lacquer as main material because of its heavy and hard job. Nature, Doan Thuy Hanh wants to explore this medium as her passion and to make a unique style, different from other artist.
Doan Thuy Hanh came to her subject in fine art by her loving natural life with kids. The daily life of kids in her works is so vibrant, cheerful, full of joy and innocent.

“I think I am very lucky woman with simply happy family and one daughter and one boy. Every day, I pick up my daughters at school and unforgettable scene come to my heart. The nature life of the kids, with the pink cheeks, the angle eyes, the “young bird –lips”, all, bring to me the non-stop thinking and I decide to send all to paintings for me, for who loves my styles and love kids in my way.”
