Tran Thanh Canh is specialize in oil on canvas but he is very successful in many other smart mediums as acrylic on Silk, acrylic on canvas, especially prints on rice paper. He is different with other artist in choosing subjects. He paints as series and it changes by times and life moves.

Year 2006 right after two years of his graduated for university, he has introduced to audience a series very unique in his own way which is not influence from any artist in over the world, that is “Nude Men” and immediately this series has accepted by collector in oversea and it has brought him the award of Young Excellent Artist Winner granted by Melbourne City.

Year 2008 with highly receiving incomes by selling “Nude Men” series, he turns up to new series “Dream”.

Year 2010-2012 with matters happens in his life, he stayed most time in pagodas and temples and he created the new series relates to “religion” and this series was collected by many art collectors in and out of Vietnam. This contemporary abstract also well welcome by art collector, especially The Casino Ho Tram collected his series for Hotel.

Year 2013, he became more peaceful in life and the new series introducing to out collector with peaceful beautiful landscape.
